WORK INJURY CARE

Worker Care offers work-related injury care to any patient that can walk in for treatment. These ambulatory (non-life-threatening) injuries include:

 

  • Cuts

  • Puncture wounds

  • Crush injuries

  • Broken bones

  • Burns

  • Back injuries

  • Sprains

  • Strains,

  • Abrasions

  • Bites

  • Particles in the eyes

  • Chemical irritations

  • Injuries to any body part
    (legs, arms, trunk, head)

DRUG & ALCOHOL SCREENING

There are many reasons you may have to have an employee tested for drugs or alcohol, and not all of them are because there’s been a problem:
 

  • Pre-Employment

  • Post-Accident

  • Random

  • Suspicious Cause

  • Follow-Up

  • Return-To-Work

CHOLINESTERASE MONITORING

Cholinesterase is an enzyme produced in the body that helps to regulate the nervous system by removing acetylcholine (a chemical that transmits nerve impulses between nerve cells and your muscles, glands, and organs). A number of pesticides commonly used in the Yakima Valley contain cholinesterase-inhibitors, which exposes the workers handling these products to overexposure.
