Attention all pesticide handlers! The Washington State Department of Agriculture is putting on a great training in Wenatchee on 02/21/2023 and Mt. Vernon/Burlington on 02/28/2023. This training is approved by EPA and focuses on pesticide handlers going above and beyond Worker Protection Standard (WPS) training requirements for pesticide handlers in agricultural establishments. Individuals will learn how to use pesticides in a safe, effective, and legal manner and is intended to reduce pesticide exposure incidents among farmworkers and their family members.
